La Ronda bullring, is one of the oldest in Spain
La Ronda bullring is one of the oldest and most beautiful in all of Spain. The style is clearly Neoclassical, and it also has a distinctive stonework main entry. The tiers of the stands are divided into two superimposed levels with smooth stone columns and 68 arches. The saddle roof is covered in Arabian tiles. With a capacity for 6,000 spectators it also has one of the largest arenas in all of Spain (60 metres in diameter). Ronda Bull Museum lies under the sections of the arena and has been open to the public since 1984. There are several sections, with the most notable dedicated to the two great bullfighting families from la Ronda: the Romero and the Ordoñez families. The bullring was inaugurated in the May fair of 1785.
