Guanche settlement
Thanks to the excavations in this type of site, we can now learn more about the culture of the first Canarian settlers.
These are remains of the pre-Hispanic culture. The Guanches, the native people of the Canary Islands, built the city which was uncovered here in the Gáldar site. The city was built around water as its most important element.
