The basilica of the reconquest
Is built on the site of the 4th century basilica destroyed by the Almohads. The present construction is Romanesque.
Basilica in layout, with three naves, and an apse that is semicircular inside and straight outside. The apse chapels have traces of Visigothic and Gothic. In the subsoil of the basilica remains of Roman houses and a Christian necropolis have been found.
