How to move around
Taxi
Airport surcharge: €1.65. Ranks are on the east side of the building. Approximate price of the journey to the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the island’s capital, is €70. Approximate fares to other destinations: Playa de Las Américas, €23; Los Cristianos, €22; Los Gigantes, €50; Tenerife Norte Airport, €70; Puerto de La Cruz, €100.
Bus
Three bus routes (343, 111 and 450) run to the island’s capital, Tenerife Norte Airport, Puerto de la Cruz and the beaches in the south. The bus stop is opposite the arrivals terminal.
Road
Direct access from the TF-1 motorway, that links with Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the south, east and north of the island.
