It is easy to enjoy nature in an environmentally friendly way. We want to help you to do it with outdoor activities in nature areas in inland regions in Spain. In the rivers, valleys, lakes and mountains you will find proposals for everyone, all year round. Feel the breeze, the fresh morning air, and when you open your eyes, you'll be flying over the vineyards in La Rioja and you'll nearly be able to reach out and touch them. Would you like to experience this moment? Then come and visit the town of Haro . And if you like heights, remember that you also have the option of paragliding or hang-gliding in the Sierra de la Demanda Mountains, and in the valleys of San Millán and Leza.

Trails

Step by step and calmly, at your leisure, enjoying the surroundings. This will be your experience in the La Rioja countryside, on its network of marked hiking trails. You can check the trails before coming, look at the maps and get information on the places of interest on each trail.

Adventure parks

They are a proposal to enjoy the countryside with friends or family. On these trails you'll have to face several balance challenges and skill tests, with different levels of difficulty that are suitable for everyone.

Sporting activities

Have you ever thought about discovering the land of wine on horseback, kayaking down the Ebro River, crossing the fields on a quad bike, or cycling in the countryside? You'll find many companies ready to organise the activity to suit your needs.

Practical tips

The activities take place outdoors and in a natural environment, so we recommend wearing comfortable clothing, adapted to the weather conditions.
"Sunset over the vineyards" hot-air balloons take place in spring and summer.
Adventure Parks are especially attractive if you are coming with children. We suggest starting with easier circuits.
Respect the natural environment so that everyone will be able to enjoy it.
Do not enter unknown areas, always tell your family or a friend where you are going and take a mobile phone with charged up battery. In any case, we recommend asking a professional for help.
