It is located in the Spanish Geology and Mining Institute building. The museum aims to promote the wealth and diversity of geological and mining heritage. To this end it exhibits a collection of minerals, rocks and fossils from all the different Spanish regions, and from various parts of the world. A large part of the collection is the result of work by important figures in geology and mining. The exhibition includes collections of mineral systematics, mineral resources, flora and fossilised invertebrates and vertebrates...
