A trip back in time
The museum is an interesting journey into the history of Cacabelos.
The museum collection is divided into two sections: archaeology and ethnology. The exhibits come from sites such as Castro Ventosa and La Edrada, amongst others, and you can see ceramics, glassware, personal utensils, weapons, crafts, coins, tombstones... There are also objects from the Middle Ages, as well as much more recent artefacts. The ethnography section has a collection of utensils related to rural and traditional life in Cacabelos.
