Journey to a rural world
The museum is housed in an old country house, and has numerous traditional objects.
The museum building is a clear example of traditional architecture, and its aim is to preserve the typical elements of the island's rural life. The showcases display typical costumes, along with all types of work utensils and farming implements, musical instruments, toys, weapons, jewellery and even an oil press. The photography collection offers a panorama of the last half-century of Ibiza’s history. The museum also holds crafts workshops and temporary exhibitions.
