The museum takes a look at modern art from its beginnings through to the present day. This outpouring of creativity is explored through the movements, artists and key works of our times.
The Artium centre offers an interesting look at modern art, divided into five chronological sections: Antecedents and Avant-gardes, 1900-1939; the Post-war at Home and Abroad, 1939-1957; Renovation and Normalisation, 1957-1980; Post-Avant-garde and Global Art, 1980-2000; the Threshold of Perspective from the year 2000.
