This tower is part of the palace of Sotomayor. It was built in the 15th century. It has a square base that turns into an octagon as it goes up. It also has a smaller towers on each of its eight angles. The tower is decorated with coats of arms, small blind arches, cornices, etc. Currently houses the offices of the Salamanca Provincial Government. Often hosts art exhibitions in addition to its permanent pharmaceutical exhibition.
