Luna Castle.
It is known as Luna Castle, referring to Álvaro de Luna, Master of the Order of Santiago and High Constable of Castile, who lived in it for a long time. It has four enclosed areas, but the outstanding thing about the building is the Keep, divided internally into five levels. It is entered through a pointed arch. Inside, you can find the church of Santa María la Mayor del Castillo, a Romanesque church with three naves covered by barrel arches. Since its restoration in 1945, the castle has been converted into an Extremaduran government youth hostel.
