This fiesta is held on the Sunday after Corpus Christi in Ponteareas.

It is the most important celebration on the calendar of this town in the province of Pontevedra. The festivities are notable for the spectacular floral carpets that are prepared for the solemn Sunday procession. On the night before, all the locals help to make the delicate multi-coloured tapestries that cover the streets on the route of the religious procession the following day. The results are stunning floral filigrees that highlight the splendour of the Corpus Christi procession. The origins of this tradition go back to the beginning of the 20th century when potholes along the procession route were filled in with flowers.
