For a few days, this musical festival transforms Segovia into the capital of folk music.

Every year this festival, which originated in the 1980s, presents rhythms and sounds from popular folklore and fusion music, and has among its objectives the promotion of young Spanish groups. It has featured such prestigious artists and groups as María del Mar Bonet, La Vieja Trova Santiaguera, Diego El Cigala, Maurizio Martinotti…

In addition to the performances (which take place in venues such as courtyards, squares and theatres), the programme also features a range of activities including exhibitions and a record fair.
