Ingredients for 4 people: 500g of pastry dough 100g of icing sugar 30g of chopped almonds 1 spoonful of butter 1 egg white

Preparation

Roll out the pastry dough on a floured table without making it too thin. Cut strips of about 14-16cm long by three wide; make a fold in the centre in the form of a bow and put them on a baking tray greased with the butter. Mix half the sugar with the egg white to make a glaze and brush the bows with it. Sprinkle with the chopped almonds. Cook in a medium preheated oven until the pastry has risen and its surface is lightly browned. Allow to cool, dust with the icing sugar and serve.
