Description

This is the largest dolmen in the province of Huelva, and measures almost 21 metres long. It was discovered in 1922 and dates from between 3000 and 2500 B.C.

This dolmen is a fine example of the Neolithic in southern Spain, and is in a good state of conservation. It is formed by a chamber with a V-shaped corridor which widens towards the interior. In spite of its large size, it contains only eight tombs in seven different sites, with engravings representing the figure of the diseased with his weapons and protective symbols.
