The building was constructed in the XVI century, Renaissance in style.Forming part of a site made up of the alderman's house, the jail, and the building itself.Its facade has two bodies, in one of note is the loggia of semicircular arches with Corinthian columns.Of note inside the building is the chapter house, covered with Renaissance handiwork of Mudejar tradition.After being used as the Town Hall, in 1998 it was converted into the site of the Baza Municipal Museum.The building is made up of funds archaeological in nature.
