This nature theme park recreates some of the different habitats on the planet. Emperor penguins, tiger fish and European lynx are just a few of the animal species you can see without leaving the city.
It is divided into 13 themed areas designed to reveal all the details of the different species that inhabit them. Visitors can explore the Flamingo Lake, the Pelican Lake, the area of Silent Shadows (with nocturnal animal species), the insects and plants in the Garden of Eden, the Beehive, the Farm (where animals can be fed and petted), the Nest (where you can learn more about all the different types of eggs), Isla Mazama (which recreates the habitat of South American rodents), Wallaby Territory (with species from the Australian outback), the Suricata Territory, the Underground Mysteries pavilion, the Evolution pavilion and Naturactiva (an interactive cinema showing nature-themed films).
Faunia also has exhibitions (for example, on birds of prey), activities featuring interaction with the animals (pelicans and sea lions), and the park recreates four of the ecosystems found in different areas of the planet: the Polar Regions, the Amazon jungle, the Mediterranean forest and the African jungle.
There are also rest and recreation areas and a wide variety of restaurant options.
