Mont-roig del Camp is one of the main tourist centres on the Costa Daurada in Tarragona, manily thanks to its 12 kilometres of beaches, where there are many hotels, campsites, flats, urban housing developments and residential areas. At these are long, sandy beaches, together with other smaller, quieter coves, you can practise sports such as windsurfing, spearfishing and water skiing.Although the municipality is Mont-roig del Camp, it has a resort on the coast: Miami Platja.Horse riding and golf are other activities that can be done in the area.

The most notable monuments in Mont-roig del Camp are the hermitage of Mare de Déu de la Roca (13th century), with impressive views; the chapel of Sant Ramon, dating from the 19th century and still used today as a guide for sailors; the Església Vella and its bell tower, in Renaissance style with elements of late Gothic, a space where all kinds of cultural events are held; and the Església Nova de Sant Miquel (19th century).Mont-roig del Camps is also an ideal place for mountain biking, with 10 routes of varying difficulty.An artistic figure closely linked to this town is Joan Miró, who chose Mont-roig del Camp to spend his holidays and began his first period as a painter here. In fact, many of the landscapes that he immortalised in his paintings are from Mont-roig and can currently be seen at the Fundació Mas Miró.
