Its beaches are probably the most well-known and photographed in the Canaries.

The town of Maspalomas is formed by the pond of the same name, the dunes and the palm tree grove. Which all go to make an area of great ecological value. The district has a total of 29 beaches and coves, including the beaches of Inglés, Maspalomas and San Agustín, all of which hold the blue flag awarded by the European Union.
