Town on the Costa Daurada, province of Tarragona, known for its charming and beautiful old quarter.
The medieval part of town is surrounded by a wall - Vila Closa -, which has been declared Cultural Heritage of National Interest. Moreover, its artistic heritage features a medieval castle, Sant Martí church, wall remains and the town hall. Also worth highlighting is the hermitage of Sant Antoni and the fishing neighborhood of Les Botigues de Mar, where small warehouses for fishermen were built in a row facing the sea; these were converted into dwellings later on.It is also highly recommended to visit the Vila Romana de Els Munts, which is part of the archaeological complex of Tarraco Romana, declared a World Heritage Site.
