The life and history of Reus
The museum presents exhibits dating from prehistory through to the modern age.
This exhibition offers a journey into the history of Reus. Amongst the various collections on display, special mention should be made of: 16th and 17th century ceramics; items that once formed part of the main altarpiece at the Parish Church; Gothic panels and two Baroque religious statues, along with archaeological remains from the prehistoric and Roman periods. Also outstanding is the permanent Gaudí & Reus exhibition, which examines the links between architect Gaudí and the city itself, through drawings, written pieces and and personal items that belonged to the artist.
