Dedicated to an ancient Roman city
The museum is in a small, 14th-century building that was once used as a hospital.
The Pollentia Monographic Museum opened its doors to the public in 1987. It contains many of the objects found at the archaeological excavations near Pollentia. The collection reveals aspects of the customs and daily life in this ancient Roman city, whose remains can also be visited during museum hours.
