The San Isidoro Romanesque complex is home to this museum, which houses a great many works of art relating to the history of the ancient Kingdom of León and its diocese. Worthy of note among the pieces on display are the chalice of Doña Urraca, the Ivory Chest and the Pantocrator pyx (all from the 11th century); the processional cross by Enrique de Arce; the medieval codices, fabrics and ivories; and the tombstones dating from Roman times.
