The castle that the artist Salvador Dalí gave to his muse, Gala, as a gift.
Since 1996, the Medieval castle of Púbol has been the site of the Gala Dalí House-Museum. The artist invested a huge amount of creative effort in this building, whose final role was as mausoleum for his wife. Dalí completely remodelled the building, opening up new rooms and decorating it in a romantic style. It is, all in all, a mysterious, sober place, full of charm and incredibly beautiful spaces such as the Piano Lounge or the old kitchen, which he converted into a bathroom.
