A journey through the history of Badajoz, from prehistoric times to the present day.
The museum is situated in the 16th-century house of the artist Luis Morales, and offers a look at the history of the city of Badajoz, from its first settlers, through the Roman, Visigoth and Moorish civilisations, to the present day. One of the rooms is dedicated to the renowned artist Luis Morales (16th century), who carried out most of his work in Spanish and Portuguese churches and palaces. The museum also has information panels, display cases, reproductions, chronograms, interactive exhibits, games...
