Built in ashlar stonework, it has a ground plan in the shape of a Latin cross, a rectangular sanctuary facing east and a single nave. At one end there is a square tower crowned with an eight-sided brick pyramid built in the 17th century, which stands on the ashlar base remaining from another previous tower.
