It was built by Fernán Pérez de Andrade. It has a basilica plan with three naves, the central one wider than the side ones, and three apses. It is covered by a double sloping roof, with a wooden ceiling with 19th-century mouldings. The main doorway is semicircular, with archivolts representing vegetable and animal figures. The municipal or clock tower was built adjoining the church in the 16th century.
