The small palace
Gaudí was commissioned with the work of constructing the palace on a site measuring 18 x 12 metres with a dome, stained glass windows and stairs that create an optical illusion making the palace seem larger than it is.
The building was constructed on top of some basements with mushroom-shaped columns with pyramid trunks. The entrance doors are iron work with coiled sculptured snakes that represent movement. The big central hall has a parabolic cupola. The beautiful terrace is a veritable outdoor museum.
