16th century Gothic palace.
A Gothic palace built in the 16th century that was moved stone by stone to its current location.
The Casa Clariana Padellàs currently houses some of the rooms of the Museum of the History of the Town. To be precise, the rooms dedicated to Renaissance and Baroque in Barcelona. It is a 16th century Gothic palace, belonging to a rich merchant that was moved brick by brick to the Plaza del Rei in 1930. The courtyard deserves a mention. Amongst the exhibits in the Museum worthy of mention is a model of the long lost Ciutadella.
