The design of this mark is marked by its landscaped character, with curving pathways predominating and defining islets of various sizes so that the sensation of being in a space that is too rigidly rectangular is lost. Within the layout, there are various outstanding points that call the attention, like the different kiosks - among them, that of music - the various fountains - among them, in the Waterfall Garden, a beautiful fountain of Renaissance construction commissioned by Carlos V and called the Swan Fountain or the Genoa Fountain - and the many statues that populate the garden, many of the dedicated to illustrious Malaga characters, like Ferrándiz, the poet Salvador Rueda, Narciso Díaz de Escovar, Rubén Darío or Arturo Reyes. There is also one dedicated to Cánovas del Castillo, which was later moved to the avenue of the same name. The existing vegetation perfectly complements the free, natural layout.
