Sant Jordi Medieval Week

Montblanc celebrates its Medieval Week in April, culminating in the reenactment of the Legend of Sant Jordi, which is staged in the town’s walled enclosure, with over 200 actors.

Over the course of several days the entire municipality is decorated and suitably attired in a 14th century style. Its towers and walls are decorated with flags of old stately homes and visitors can breathe the atmosphere of the Middle Ages on the streets, as well as watch the many different events throughout the week: talks, parades, theatre plays, sports activities, games, a popular market, dinners in the medieval style and troubadour songs.
