Renaissance Week

Medina del Campo, in Valladolid, travels back to the splendour of the 15th and 16th centuries in the city.

Several locations, such as the Plaza Mayor, the Reales Carnicerías, Plaza Segovia and the surroundings of the La Mota castle, host the Renaissance Week. Gastronomic fairs, markets, dramatised visits to the castle, guided tours of museums and monuments, parades of the Royal Courts, an “imperial” camp with falconry displays, exhibitions and recreations of historical moments such as “The Burning of Medina”.
