Manilva is surrounded by a sea of vineyards. It is 2 kilometres from the sea. Among its monuments, special mention should be made of Duquesa Castle, built to protect the coast from raids by pirates, and the 18th century Santa Ana Church. This is an excellent spot to play golf, and be sure to sample the exquisite fresh local fish: sea bream, red mullet, grouper, tuna, oven-roasted sardines...
