The city's excellent communications include the modern international airport, situated a few kilometres from the city centre, and also the high speed train (AVE) station, which turns Madrid into a destination just 2 hours away. It is a modern complex of futurist architecture, consisting of a main building, two lateral buildings, and three exhibition pavilions: a total of 30,000 square metres of exhibition space that includes an auditorium with capacity for more than a thousand people, conference rooms with multimedia equipment, restaurants, and cafeterias.
Located on the isle of La Cartuja, El Palenque is an ample 9,000 square metre complex, perfectly equipped to house all kinds of events: professional meetings, presentations, conventions, etc. An auditorium with a capacity of 1,500 people stands out among its facilities.
Seville's accommodation capacity is beyond doubt, with around 10,000 four- and five-star hotel beds, and around 3,500 beds in three-star hotels.
