  • View of the Sagrada Familia church.

We're kicking off the year by showing a picture you loved of Barcelona. As you can see, it's of the Sagrada Familia Basilica and was taken at an interesting angle. It's gained so much hype that it became one of the month's most successful publications. This Gaudí monument is very special... Barcelona never lets you down.

  • View of the Alhambra in Granada

When it comes to this time of year, your favourite was somewhere that leaves no-one indifferent: Granada. It's well worthwhile checking out every corner of this city. • Courtyards in Cordoba

It was no surprise to find that the most popular topic this month was the Festival of the Courtyards in Cordoba. During this traditional event, the courtyards in the old quarter of the city are filled with flowers. The scent of jasmine and orange blossom pervades the streets and invites you to linger and enjoy the spectacular display. Cordoba is also known the world over for its Mosque-Cathedral. You need to visit it at least once in your life during May.

  • New Bisagra gate

In June we showed you a photo of Toledo, as it had been named the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy. It was shared many times. Anyone who strolls through the famous 'city of three cultures' is enchanted by its labyrinth of alleyways that seem to have got stuck in the Middle Ages. Discover its mosques, synagogues, Cathedral... Toledo has an almost unbeatable charm.

  • City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia

July's most popular photo was a picture of the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, with surprising buildings designed by Calatrava that seem to have come from the future. But Valencia also has its historic centre with monuments such as the Cathedral and, of course, it has the sea.
