It is a pretty beach with clear waters, with fine, brown sand. It offers attractive countryside and the conditions are good for bathing. In summer the conditions are perfect for windsurfing and also funboarding. It has a promenade and good restaurants nearby. Its nearest port is that of Taliarte. You can get there by bus or car, on the GC-1 road, taking a turn off on the C-812 road, and passing through Carrizal, then taking another turn off to Burrero.
