The north of the island of Fuerteventura is the perfect destination for lovers of water sports. Its western coast has the perfect waves for surfing at all levels, all year round. The eastern coast is an outstanding area for scuba diving and snorkelling thanks to its crystal-clear waters and rocky sea beds. The Dunas de Corralejo nature reserve is another of the area's attractions: an enormous stretch of sand dunes beside the sea which is perfect for practicing water sports while enjoying the sensation of being in the middle of the desert.
