Headquarters of the Romanesque Study Centre.
One of the most emblematic Romanesque buildings in Palencia. Dates from the XIII century. The church of the monastery has three naves with three apses out of which two are preserved.The pillars of the naves are cruciform.The cloister, representing the transition to Gothic art, has a series of arches with columns decorated with capitals. Of note on the exterior is the big typha and a main front with three splayed archivolts on pairs of bent columns.Today the monastery house the Romanesque Study Centre.

 | Timetables: 1 July to 31 August, daily, 10.30am-2pm and 4-8pm. 1 September to 30 June, Tuesday to Friday, 4-7pm. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, 10.30am-2pm and 4.30-7.30pm. The Romanesque Museum has the same timetable Entry fee:
