Good communications are another factor to help you decide. You can get to Seville in just two hours on the High Speed Train (AVE) from Madrid. Seville also has an international airport, 10 kilometres from the city centre, with flights to and from other European capitals. The Universal Expo held here in 1992 was at the root of a complete process of infrastructure regeneration that has turned Seville into the modern city it is today. Its most outstanding venue for meetings is the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre, with a major extension plan forecast for the year 2010.
