Puente La Reina (Queen's Bridge) is a staging post for travellers on the Pilgrim's Route who come from the Somport pass and Roncesvalles. Outstanding among its legacy of historic buildings is the church of Santiago, built in the 12^th century and later extended. It has a beautiful Romanesque main front with Moorish influences, a Latin cross plan and star-shaped ogival vaults. The church of Crucifijo, in the late Romanesque style of the 12^th century, was extended in the 14^th century. Its was founded by the Knights Templars who settled in the lodgings. Also worth mentioning are its large medieval bridge of five arches, the church of San Pedro, from the 14^th century, and the convent of the Comendadoras de Sancti Spiritus.
