You can get to know the traditional local way of life at the Ethnographic Museum
Don Benito is 50 kilometres from the city of Mérida. The town has an Ethnographic Museum with more than 3,000 pieces, a representative example of the old customs and traditions of the region. It has 29 rooms, offering different perspectives on the recent past and its development. There are exhibits concerning different aspects of life and work, from basic rural society, through to the activity of craftsmen and small traders to the bourgeoisie.
